PURPOSE: RECONSTRUCT ENGINEERED MATERIAL ARRESTING SYSTEM. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT RECONSTRUCTS AN EXISTING ENGINEERED MATERIAL ARRESTING SYSTEM FOR RUNWAY 16/34, AT THE 34 END, THAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED. THIS GRANT IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT THAT FUNDS A PORTION OF THE EMAS MATERIAL ACQUISITION. INTENDED BENEFICIARY: THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR AIRPORTS ASSOCIATED WITH ROANOKE, VIRGINIA.
